Gluten Free In Las Vegas, Nevada: At The Club

The Cosmopolitan Hotel
3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Las Vegas, NV 89109
(702) 698-7000

A few weekends ago, I got the opportunity to experience something totally new to me; the Marquee Day Club at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It's basically like a Las Vegas nightclub, but in a pool with a much more casual dress code. Since our plan was to spend most of the day at the pool - I called ahead to find out if their menu would offer some gluten free friendly food for me. They assured me that there would be plenty of options available to me.

Things You Should Do in Nevada: Drive the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Loop

Seriously, almost every single time I've been to Las Vegas I've driven the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Loop. It's only about 30 minutes from the Strip and a wonderful place to decompress from all the bright lights and craziness that is Las Vegas. It's one of the reasons I always get a rental car when I go there, well, that and to get to Whole Foods. The drive is about 13 miles along and can be as short or as long as you want it to. I usually drive slowly with lots of stops for exploring and picture taking and it takes me a little over an hour to complete it. If you have some additional time there are over a dozen short day hikes to explore just off the loop.

So I just have to say, I was so incredibly pleased with my stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations Suites on the Las Vegas Strip (herein after HGVSotLVS). It's by far the nicest Las Vegas hotel I've ever stayed in and ranks among my most favorite chain hotel stays ever.

Gluten Free In Las Vegas, Nevada: Off the Strip

On this trip to Las Vegas, I tried to stay off the main part of the strip as much as possible. Since I was here for a work trip that was fairly easy. With the exception of one harrowing drive down half the strip at night, I managed to avoid it completely and still get out and do a couple of things.

Gluten Free In Las Vegas, Nevada

Last weekend was spent in Las Vegas for my bachelorette weekend away.  This wasn't exactly your traditional bachlorette weekend, but there was one night of dancing at a club on the strip.  The rest was made up of yummy gluten free food at some neat restaurants, a trip to Red Rocks Canyon, and a visit to the Atomic Testing Museam.
