Gluten Free In Banff, Alberta, Canada

Before I get to Banff, I just have to say that we drove through Jasper National Park (Canada) to get to Banff and WOW! I had never really heard much about Jasper before but it was incredibly beautiful and I absolutely plan to go back! Okay, now back to Banff, which was also incredibly beautiful. When I started my search for gluten free spots I was lucky enough to find this post with some great ideas. Unfortunately, they didn't all work out for us. Magpie and Stump no longer has a gluten free menu and I just wasn't too interested in the food at the Elk and Oarsman.

Due to some serious wind on the last morning of our camping trip, we packed up the car and headed to town to find breakfast. We stopped by the Wild Flour Bakery and they had about 3 different gluten free treats on the top shelf of their pastry case. I got the peach ginger muffin and it was moist, delicious, and most importantly it did not make me sick.
